World of Warcraft is a Living Breathing Online Adventure World

World of Warcraft by BheimseinBlog

Seems everyone is asking “where is the place for gold?” or “I'm broke and need gold fast, please tell me where?” This article should help you out. Here I will list just some of the methods because there are too many to write but farming or getting world of warcraft gold is EASY! Think outside of the box…

You can farm normal rock elementals in the south, middle edge of The Badlands zone (nestled in a small valley). They drop a lot of grey loot that vendors for 50silver to 1.5 World Of Warcraft Gold and drop it every other kill. They also drop ELEMENTAL EARTH which sells on the ah for 1-3 World Of Warcraft Gold A PIECE. Average drop of the earths is 1 out of 17.

You can farm elemental slaves on the west side of Alterac mountains (horde only) for the chance to get elemental earths (1 out of 15 kills). Goes for 1-3 World Of Warcraft Gold a piece on Auction House.

Can farm elemental exiles on the southwest area of Arathi Highlands for elemental earths. Same 1-3 World Of Warcraft Gold per earth on AH.

Can farm Dabryie's farm in Arathi Highlands (horde only) for 30 npcs of 2-6 silver each on 3-5 minute spawn timers. Often times not camped. Easily can generate 1-5 World Of Warcraft Gold an hour, more if you are an AOE class.

Can farm Go'Shek farm in Arathi Highlands (alliance only) for 30-40 npcs of 2-6 silver each on 3-5 minute spawn timers. Often times not camped. Easily can generate 1-5 World Of Warcraft Gold an hour, more if you are an AOE class.

You can area of effect the scarlet monastery graveyard (in Tristfall glades northeast corner of map) for a good 2silver – 6 silver per kill. An aoe class can easily farm and reset the instance for a good 30-60 World Of Warcraft Gold an hour.

You can farm warpwoods and deadwoods (funny, walking tree treant guys) for 2-10 silver, rare herb drops that sell for 1-5 World Of Warcraft Gold EACH, major healing potions (sells for 1-1.5 World Of Warcraft Gold each on my server), and Living Essences (sells for 8-14 World Of Warcraft Gold EACH on AH!). The warpwoods are located on the north side of Felwood zone near the alliance flight path person. The deadwoods are located just southwest of where the warpwoods are. I made an easy 40-80 World Of Warcraft Gold an hour depending on AH prices with my 60 PALADIN. If you have any other faster dps class, you can EASILY get DOUBLE the World Of Warcraft Gold per hour I got (I should've rolled a different class…. *cries*).

You can farm twilight hammer elites in Searing Gorge. They are located JUST WEST of the alliance/horde flightpoints. You can easily get 3-5 mageweave cloth per drop and about 2silver-16 silver per kill, with 9/10 silver being the most common drop of coin. Easily can make 10 World Of Warcraft Gold per hour off coin drops and 5-20 World Of Warcraft Gold per hour off the green and mageweave drops.

And there are many more spots if you take the time to look. This short list should help you.

Starcraft 2 – The Future Of Competitive Gaming

Starcraft 2 Zerg concept art by STARFEEDER

What is life like for a Starcraft foreigner? OSL. MSL. Proleague. SuperFight. eSports Seoul Festival. Courage. What do these events have in common? Prestige. Money. Fame. Korean only. Aside from the World Cyber Games, foreigners have very little to train for. For the vast majority of foreigners, this is the only meaningful event on their calendar. Of course, there are small tournaments and leagues held by various organizations that foreigners use to pass the time; however, these are inadequate substitutes for genuine e-sports events.

Adolfo “eVaDe” Castillo, a regular World Cyber Games competitor, comments, “[There is] a lack of offline tournaments. There is really only WCG, with maybe one other LAN tournament a year.”

Tom “FroZ” Whittier, a player well known for his outstanding performances in the World Cyber Games, expresses similar concerns. “There's not many opportunities to prove yourself [in the foreign Starcraft scene],” says FroZ.

Starcraft foreigners are stuck hiding in the background of mainstream eSports. In stark contrast, Warcraft III players compete in countless international LAN events each year. In addition to many large-scale offline competitions, Warcraft III players enjoy the unique and influential WC3L.

Where are the Warcraft III style leagues? The Warcraft III Champions League (WC3L) is the most competitive of the many existing Warcraft III team leagues. This league sends the top Warcraft III teams to Europe every season for a live LAN final. In the Warcraft III community, teams live and die based on the success of their qualification into the esteemed WC3L. The existence of a league of this caliber and influence is a giant boost to the lifeline of the international Warcraft III scene. Starcraft lacks such a boost. Starcraft teams lack motivation and organization as a result.

Cheaters

Cheating issues also persist as an ongoing problem for the community. A very high percentage of foreign Starcraft competitions are held online. This allows for people to cheat in a plethora of different ways.

Dan “Artosis” Stemkoski has been a part of the foreign Starcraft community for a long time. He has seen cheaters come and go over the years and still cites it as a serious problem. Dan comments, “There is a lot of dishonesty going around that doesn't get dealt with. Normally get away with a slap on the wrist if anything at all.”

The foreign Starcraft community certainly does have a long history of being extremely lenient with cheaters of all sorts. People that have been caught cheating are still sought after to play on high-level foreign teams. Recently, many players have been investigated for map hacking; however, this has done little more than given the cheaters publicity. In other gaming communities, a player who is caught cheating often loses everything from his sponsor to his teammates.

From the outside looking in

Another serious problem for the Starcraft community is the psychologically troubling effect of being an outsider looking in. Everyone likes to be involved in the action. There isn't much action on the sidelines.

” have no way to play in Korea's nice amateur leagues and tournaments,” says Artosis. The Korean gaming community seems to make it a point to remain isolated from the rest of the World.

Greg “IdrA” Fields is a player who has made quite an impression on the foreign scene in recent years. He tells us, “Outside of Korea nothing comes close to the culture they have. I try to follow the pro-gaming scene but it's nearly impossible to really be a part of it.”

With IdrA's recent win in StarCraft SuperStars, perhaps things will be changing for at least one foreigner.

It is a difficult situation for foreigners. No matter how hard a foreigner trains or how many tournaments and leagues he wins, he is still stuck at second best behind an entire community of elite gamers. Ordinarily, this would kill the competitive spirit of a community.

The community that never says die

As Starcraft player and broadcaster Nicolas “Tasteless” Plott observes, “[the foreign scene] is still highly competitive, even if this scene lacks money tournaments people are still obsessed with being the best.”

While World of Warcraft players enjoy high paying, highly publicized tournaments, Starcraft foreigners walk amidst a barren wasteland of big-time money tournaments. While Warcraft III cheaters are punished worse than most felons, Starcraft hackers are recruited by competitive teams. Mediocre Counter-Strike teams snatch sponsorships on a whim. Mainstream press celebrates children playing Halo 2. People have even made money playing Guitar Hero. Yet, Starcraft persists outside of Korea.

Starcraft players do not jump around from game to game looking for an easy win.

Starcraft foreigners are warriors

These individuals battle each other via the most demanding real-time strategy game ever made. And they do it without hope of reward. Why do they do it?

“Starcraft is a game for those who want to be challenged. I feel like a man when I play Starcraft,” Tasteless remarks. This brings us to an interesting realization. Starcraft is self-rewarding. The very act of playing a game of this quality is a rewarding experience in and of itself. This is why it does not matter that the foreign scene is hanging on by a thread with close to one LAN tournament a year. It does not matter that online ladders are sporadic.

Starcraft lives on.

Nick “Testie” Perentesis has enjoyed a degree of success in the foreign Starcraft scene that very few others can claim to rival. His reason for sticking with Starcraft over the years echoes what we have all come to realize. ” is a fast paced, intense, and balanced game. And to this day, [it is] the most in depth RTS that exists in my opinion.” Gamers like Testie are in the business of challenging themselves to the max. Starcraft is that challenge.

Chad “Goon” Tracy has been operating a community website called Starcraft University for the past six years. His website is dedicated to helping newcomers to the Starcraft community develop as gamers. Chad credits Starcraft itself for the sustained traffic his website receives. “It's the pure love of the game. I mean, this game has so many strategic options that it is almost impossible to completely conquer every aspect of the game…Starcraft is one of those games that just never gets old. It's a classic.” Chad believes that pure love of the game trumps any problems the community surrounding the game brings about. “It's like your favorite book or your favorite shirt. You just can't give it up,” Chad says.

Starcraft players are doing more than just playing an old game. They are making a statement. Starcraft is worth it.

Effective Money Saving Help

Do you sometimes find yourself in a financial predicament that usually ends up with too many debts? Do you live extravagantly well outside your means? Learn from these ultra basic tips on saving money, saving your pride, and saving yourself from loan sharks.

Save a portion of your income or allowance. If you are receiving a regular allowance or already earning income, split ten or twenty percent of it depending on how much you can afford to spare. Tuck away the saved portion in a money box or deposit it in a savings bank. Keep a firm resolve not to be tempted to spend the money you have stashed away.

Buy only what you need. You may declare that the charming turtleneck at Marks and Spencer would look better on you than on that pale mannequin by the window, but if you do not need it, you might as well leave it that way. Usually, money deficit stems from impulsive and irresponsible budget allocation. As repetitive as it may sound, use your money wisely! The next time you stroll along the alleys inside the drugstore, use all your will power to stop yourself from picking up and paying for that expensive mousse you do not really need.

Personalize gift ideas. It does not matter whether you enjoy them or not, birthdays and special occasions occur month after month after month. And your sweet little heart just cannot resist the urge to make your celebrator friend a happier person by buying her a gift. Instead of giving something straight from the shop, why not offer something straight from the heart? This is also the time to become creative and resourceful. Give someone a personalized gift that might be cheaper but would undoubtedly be worth more to the recipient.

Skip pricey leisure activities. You do not really need that overall body massage now, do you? Not when a warm, soothing bath at home would still do. It is not that you should give up leisure entirely. Simply substitute expensive activities with least expensive ones.

Keep track of your expenses. It is best to keep a logbook of your expenses at home and outside in a weekly or daily basis. This routine will help you analyze patterns of your expenditures and make you more proficient at budgeting your future finances. This way, you can clearly see how you are spending your money.

Ultimately, the most focal part that would put all the above tips to work is resolution. Be determined about saving money. You will find that the sacred principle to money saving is fairly simple: minimize spending. But just remember that along with this, is another simple but important rule of money management: skimp when you can but never sacrifice your diet, your comfort, and especially your pride.

Army rendition of Gaga hit storms the Internet (The Newsroom)

The Newsroom – Members of the 82nd Airborne Division posted the video last week, and it went viral, logging more than 200,000 views to date. As The Smoking Gun pronounced in presenting the video's remarkable backstory, it's almost certainly "the most entertaining music video homage ever shot in a war zone." It's a largely faithful version of the controversial "Telephone" video — with, of course, certain allowances for improvised props, since it's hard to rustle up full spandex costumes in the desert wilds of Afghanistan's Farah province. You can watch the ingenious Gaga homage below:

Red Cross and SEMA Team-up to Help Flood Victims

The American Red Cross teamed up with Saugus Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) volunteers to help out flood victims to recover from the flood that hit them a few weeks ago.
The two teams helped by distributing kits and giving flood victims cleanup assistance as well as give advice and information on how to manage flooding. The flood aid kits from Red Cross cleanup kits were packaged inside a cardboard box which included a broom, a mop, a squeegee, various sanitation supplies, salvage bags and other cleaning equipment.
Many flood-stricken homeowners from Saugus, Lynn and Revere as well went to the old firehouse at Hamilton Street to ask for assistance and receive the cleanup kits.
While the kits came from Red Cross, SEMA gave advice on how to handle flood and assistance on cleanup as well as informing people on how to make use of Federal Emergency Management Agency grants, since some flood victims may not be aware that they are eligible for it.
The team-up was a result of Red Cross contacting SEMA for a place where they can distribute the kits which SEMA was more than willing to help them with.
Steve White of SEMA said that the Red Cross contacted them looking for volunteers and a location to distribute the flood aid kits. Having done a lot of water pumping during these past storms, SEMA knew how much help the Red Cross would provide the local flood victims. White Added that they had a central location to distribute all kits, so that the Red Cross ended up supplying the kits SEMA supplied the labor and a location.
SEMA Director Paul Penachio admits that it wasn’t a complete solution but it was meant to help residents in any way they can for them to recover from the flood.
“The efforts here have been wonderful… These people are offering great services that people definitely need.” Remarked one resident who was able to receive a kit and assistance.

Great Money Saving Tips for This Holiday

There are many ways to save money growing plants from seeds. Growing plants from seeds can sometimes end up costing more then buying them due to the cost of the soil, seeds trays, domes, heating mats, etc. Landscaping materials, gardening tools, soil and other gardening items can add up quick, so saving money on the plants themselves will help you stay within your budget.

Over the last couple years I have learned many ways to save money growing my plants from seeds. Not only do I save money on the plants, I also save money on the supplies that are needed for growing the seeds. Below are some great ways to save money when growing your own plants from seeds.

Save Money On Seed

First of all, you are already most likely already saving money by buying seeds instead of the plant itself. Well, be sure to get a good deal on the seeds as well. Most feed stores carry seeds along with department stores, hardware stores and online nurseries. eBay is another great source for seeds as well. So far the cheapest that I have found to get seeds is Wal-Mart…yes Wal-Mart. I learned this the hard way. I was spending $1.79 for Ferry Morse seeds at ACE and then found them at Wal-Mart for $1.00. That extra change adds up quick when you are buying multiple packs. Shop around to find the best prices on seeds!

Save Money On Seed Trays

Seed trays can be very expensive ranging from $3.00-6.00 a piece. That will surely take a chunk out of your gardening budget when you are planting several types of seeds. However, you still need a nice container for planting your seeds and maintaining you're the humidity. There is a simple solution- Aluminum trays. I get the 7×7 aluminum trays at the Dollar Tree that are 4 for $1. Really, who can beat that? Once you have you're your seeds simply slide it into a gallon bag, fill it with air and watch the greenhouse take affect. Don't spend a lot of money on those fancy gallon bags either. Get the Cheapies from the dollar store They work just as well.

With care, you can reuse the trays and the bags over and over. You can also pay $1.00-2.00 for the aluminum trays that have the clear lid on them. THEY WORK EXCELLENT as well!

Save Money On Flower Pots

Along with saving money on your seed trays, you can also save money on your flower pots. Why by those Jiffy pots and waste money? Yes they are biodegradable and are easy to slap in a hole but hey…you got a budget to stick to! Instead of going out and buying new pots for a couple hundred seedlings, use Styrofoam cups. You can get a pack of 60-100 8oz cups for a $1.00 at the dollar store! Poke a small hole in them and be done! The plants slide out of them very easily and they can be reused. They also label very well with a pen or marker.

Save Money On Plant Labels

Keeping your seeds trays and seedlings separated and remembering which is which can be quite hard. Labeling them is almost a must. However, growing several plants and paying $2.00-3.00 for 10 plant labels can be another unnecessary expense you may incur. Instead use a Popsicle stick and a ball point pin. They are practically waterproof as long as you don't use a marker. The markers tend to bleed and become unreadable.

Another method is take a thin sheet or plastic or metal and cutting it into strips. Using a permanent marker, write the name on each one and there you have it, plant labels.

These are only a few ways to save money when growing your plants from seeds. However, these few changes can save you several hundred dollars a year. These things add up and they add up quick. Gardener like me who are on a budget, can truly appreciate saving on these items in order to put into their garden.

Politics are Stupid

Politicians and bureaucrats claim to have all the answers to all our questions and solutions to every problem. It is true that government does have the natural competitive advantage over the private sector of not being subject to ordinary taxation. There are plenty of examples of places government tries to compete with the private sector and routinely fails in spite of all of its natural advantages. Government officials and politicians are making grandiose claims that they will give the USA massive change by deconstructing private sector institutions and replacing those with government models of institutional perfection. This sounds like great news to many of the people most of whom don't seem very well educated nor having very good memories of the government games of the same sort in the past that ended in failure.

Giving powerful liberal democrats the benefit of the doubt, it is possible to let them prove that they can deliver what they say they can before they wreck existing institutions mainly in the private sector. We should dare the government to prove that it can do better what it says it can on a small trial test scale before dismantling the country and killing jobs for millions who are dependent on the existing institutions.

Take Health care as one example. The powerful liberal democrats claim they will find cost savings and will not be forcing patents to accept health care rationing. They also say that everyone will get to choose their doctor and that everyone will have equal access to the system. The claim is also that the services will be better and more reliable. Lots of claims and no proof that what they say is possible will work. Let them prove it first. They can take a small state perhaps Hawaii and try out their program there first on a small scale. They should do this side by side with the market economy to see what the actual results will be. The voters should dare them to do this. If the government program is a major success cutting costs and giving better services than the private sector then they win the bet. If their program turns into a watered down Veterans Hospital catastrophe with extra high monopoly prices and substandard doctors staying in the profession and the public is forced to wait in endless lines for care with unbelievably higher taxes to pay for their dream health care system in spite of what is now being advertised as an improvement then maybe it won't prove to be a very good idea.

The way the liberal democrats see the process in transforming national health care is as much of a quick take over and displacement as possible leaving no trace of the present system of health care to compare the results to.

This is their same formula for Energy and Financial institutions where they want to take over and run the institutions so there is nothing left to compare the state of their energy program success to . Ever notice that no matter how badly a government agency there is always a built in PR machine to tell you otherwise?

Then we hear all about the need for a green economy , green jobs, green industries. It is going to be so grand and so green amazing! Right? That green stuff is a PR machine from the beginning! The fact that many local recycling programs waste more energy being green than just disposing of trash in landfills is often left out of the reported benefits to the community equations. Some communities waste so much energy recycling garbage that they consuming more of the earth's scarce resources than they are actually saving! The PR machine has millions of people washing out old cans and bottles using natural gas heated tap water. What might feel good to many in these communities maybe more harmful to the “environment” by the green rules than advertised. Transportation costs for a lot of recycled scrap material can eat away at the benefit and of course cause the need for more diesel and coal based electric production than just having a convenient landfill! Trading scrap metal garbage and bales of cardboard/ newsprint for manufactured goods from china with US treasury bonds is an extraordinarily great deal for the US. We get finished products at bargain prices and they get a ship full of our garbage as ballast. We also give them treasury notes not worth the paper they are printed on. How can the Chinese be such dupes? The Chinese do actually pay good prices for some of our trash depending on the market conditions too so we get some of our worthless dollars back in the transaction too. Recycling programs are uniformly deemed to have succeeded when government's created them as programs. The data however shows that the private sector is actually doing better in this regard especially for tax payers. This is because in some more successful private recycling programs the private companies actually pay people for their sorted trash instead of charging them a fee for collection! You will not find a single government recycling program that is sharing the wealth from the trash cans with the taxpayers!

Government's big plans to national the oil , gas and coal industries are not exactly a new concept. It has been done in quite a few other countries and the outcomes often seems to be a bigger disaster than in just having commercial competition instead of a state monopoly. Pemex in Mexico is a nationalized state oil company that has had infinite resources with the potential to rival some of the biggest multinational corporations and never stood a chance trying. Pemex has proved to be vital to Mexico never the less it is a fiasco. Having Old John D Rockefeller from New York City would be a vast improvement for Mexico's oil and natural gas industry and its total benefit to society compared to the long destructive phase of state control of Pemex. If a national energy monopoly really works better let them prove it competition with the existing Us Oil and natural gas industry first. Even with it's tax advantage it will probably prove itself a disaster compared to the private oil companies.

Government seem as if it would rather just come in and trash existing institutions taking power and control away from the private sector and individuals and then turning around and giving it all away to their better friends. Government advertises how this makes everything :”publicly owned” . That will prove to be nonsense. If the big spending liberal democrats have all the answers then they should prove it in advance of wrecking private institutions that seem to work . Dare them to prove that they can actually stop climate change before accepting their new world transformation process. Dare them to prove that solar and wind energy are reliable compared to the alternatives before taking over the entire system.

If they won't accept the dare maybe there is something they want to hide?

Why I Love Football

NFL Cheerleaders at the Pro Bowl in Honolulu by ZenzenOK

In today's fast pace lifestyle it seems that all aspects of our lives have been modified to speed up the bottom line, which is results. The same is true for the great game of football. The game of football has evolved as such, that size is not so much a factor as much as speed. Don't get me wrong size is still an integral part of the game, but speed is something that can not be accounted for in preparing for a game. With that in mind, the Spread Offense was born. This article is designed help understand this high scoring prolific offense.

The premise behind the spread is to stretch a defense both vertically and horizontally making them defend the entire field. In doing this, one also allows for athletes to make plays in the open field. In essence, what the spread did was place more emphasis on speed. The spread offense incorporates the use of 4 to 5 receivers, and the use of 1 or no backs. Many theories exist as to why teams are using the spread. Some believe that that spread is designed to throw the ball, which is very effective. What people don't know is that many high school and collegiate teams use the spread to run the ball. Why? Spreading people out with 4 receivers makes defenses “show their cards” so to speak. A defense can line up only so many ways to defend the spread. They will either maximize their coverage, which will allow less players to stop the run or maximize the box, which will minimize their pass coverage.

Another aspect of the spread offense that has attracted even your more traditional run oriented schools is the ability to score points, almost at will. The spread offense has increased point production based on the fact that more versatile athletes have been introduced. It used to be that the best athletes on the field were 1 or 2 running backs. Now with the advent of the spread, you have 6 athletes on the field that can score at any time. Furthermore, the spread has introduced a different breed of football player. These football players are basketball type kids, that can utilize many of the skills required for basketball on the football field. The ability to jump, catch, and run are attributes beneficial to the spread. One attribute not commonly associated with basketball is the ability to block. These receivers must screen a man for 1 to 3 seconds for most perimeter run plays. Again, a skill used in basketball.

I hope this article helped you understand the basic concepts behind the spread. That way, when you are watching a college or high school football game you will understand why coaches and players do what they do.
